700,000,000 Years

After a day off, we're back! Go to the Beginning, Here! Go Back to 600,000,000 Years: Here! Onward to 800,000,000 years: Coming soon 8 Swimming Limbs: 9 Fins for Maneuverability: 74 Spiked club: 18 Acid Resistance: 6 Increased Size of Electrical Attack: 92 THE TIME: 700,000,000 Years BBB THE PLACE: The Open Ocean, with very chilled temps Lifeform Survival: 75% The Situation: 700,000,000 years... where has the time gone. Evolution is still slow, and your opponent cells aren't doing much (aside from the usual "eating you and trying to survive" bit). The basic predator cells are slowly becoming resistant to your electricity, reducing the time your prey spends stunned. By the next turn, they will be moderately resistant, and when they hit one billion years, they will be completely resistant. Their poison/acid blood has increased in toxicity to the point that they are killing anything but themselves in a radius of about 3 inches. The acidic poison has attracted a new species of bacteria to feast on it, and we'll get to that one next turn. You have evolved stronger "feelers" toward the front end of your body length, which can now generate a massive electrical pulse and fry anything that gets within range. Your range is on par with the current enemy predator cells, but your electricity fries nuclei rather than dissolves it leaving more food for you. Two new bacteria make their appearance here and all four of these total "named" bacteria are going to be around until at least 1.5 billion years. The first newcomer is T. Lerug Dorvi, a huge earthworm that radiates intense heat to kill its opponents. It's going after the biggest cells it can find, and right now this means P. Munni Selvon. The second is H. Comei Vargi, a five-pointed star-shaped bacteria with mouths on the end of its points and a tendril inside the mouths that it uses to "sting" opponents with a toxic venom that digests it from the inside out. The tendril is armor-piercing. They too are going after P. Munni Selvon, because it's slow and can't escape. G. Ethian Tromii, on the other hand, has picked a fight with H. Liurgi Hueon, and H. Liurgi Hueon is losing badly, as G. Ethian Tromii's acid is too powerful for it. What next? Start suggesting :) Onward to 800,000,000 years! Enemy Predator Cells: * Feed on Hydrogen Peroxide (Poison immunity) * Acid Resistant * Slightly resistant to electricity; this resistance increases next turn * Extremely Acidic, Toxic Blood (++Poison, ++Acid) * Launchable Venomous Barbs, attached to tethers/nerves * Agile, can catch you * Great Size (+Strength, +Damage, -Speed) * Cell wall-shattering bite (making Spikes useless) Danger Level: 4/10 A. Snillix Sorteii * Great Size (++Strength, +Damage, -Speed) * Entangling tentacles (Holds food fast) * Hunts X. Neutralis Thromalius specifically * Slow but patient, and getting faster -Evolving small fins next turn Danger Level: 5/10 and Rising next turn P. Munni Selvon * Huge Hooks (++Damage) * Very slow * Can't catch you, but it does kill the unwary * Attracted to Phosphorus * Metabolises Biological Slime for a speed boost -Quickly- evolving next turn to deal with the two-pronged threat Danger Level: 3/10 but Rising G. Ethian Tromii * Uses acid to consume prey's defenses * Moderately slow * Has whiskers that trigger its acid spray Danger Level: 4/10 and rising fast H. Liurgi Hueon * "Dual valved", utilizing a venus flytrap mechanic * Very slow, can't catch you * Great Size (+Strength, -Speed) -Evolving Stealth next turn X. Neutralis Thromalius * Protective, Elastic Bio-Conductive Shell (++Armor, -Speed, +Counterattack) * EMP attack (+Electricity Damage) * Protective Coloration (+Stealth) * Water Jets (++Speed) * Poison Immunity * High "Willpower" (+Health) * Slow (due to the weight of the tail), not agile at all * Prehensile Tail used like a mace to stun (+Weight, +Damage) * Predatory (Prefers other cells to dead matter) * Moderately Large 69% to Carnivore-ism
